Papillion refers to the French word for butterflies "papillion". The lamp consists of 6 luminous lampshades, each elegantly positioned in a lightweight metal construction that together forms the shape of a hexagon.
The floating lampshades reflect the direct light to the ceiling and filter the indirect light to the room below. The 6 arms are mounted on a fluted center piece, giving the lamp a shimmering and reflective quality.
Papillion is available in brass with perforated lampshades that filter the light through each small hole in the perforated lampshade.
Papillion is also available in an oxidized version with white opal glass lampshades that create a warm and cozy lighting.
